This module is designed for anyone working in the conservation sector who needs to understand good practice approaches for setting up reporting mechanisms and what is needed for effective responses to reported cases or concerns.

This module is not designed to enable individuals to become skilled investigators.

By the end of this module you should be able to:
– Describe the importance of reporting mechanisms and key principles in their design
– Identify barriers to reporting concerns and complaints.
– Describe the principles of an effective safeguarding response and the importance of a survivor-centred approach.

Anne, our Focal Point for the course, will explain key concepts and guide you through much of the safeguarding knowledge and activities.
