Behaviour Change Toolkit
This toolkit gives you the know-how you need to understand people’s behaviours and to help them to make positive changes in their lives.
It should be used when preparing programme strategies, developing project proposals, and reviewing the quality of your interventions.
Understanding exactly which factors prevent people from practising the promoted behaviours and subsequently addressing the identified barriers is the single most effective way to achieve the desired change. Addressing the barriers that really matter helps us save lots of time and money, as we avoid wasting our resources on ineffective activities.
