Danube-Carpathian Programme

The purpose of the NGO Danube-Carpathian Program is to preserve and sustainably use natural heritage, support democratic processes and introduce innovation visions in nature conservation for 21 century. Priority areas of activities are linked to protected areas network development and capacity building, sustainable forest management, adaptation to climate change, restoration of natural ecosystems, public support for democratic processes linked to natural resources use, legislation framework support and the development of environmental education. The NGO “Danube-Carpathian Programme” is a team of experts and scientists on ecology, conservation biology, sustainable development of natural ecosystems and natural resources (like forests, wetlands), ecological legislation and other problems of conservation and sustainable use of natural resources. We carry out research studies, environmental projects implementation, conservation management activities, environmental impact assessment, public campaigns support, work on improving environmental legislation etc.
